These are soft microfiber applicator pads for spreading dressings, protectants and polish onto a bike's plastics and rubber in an even layer. They are a small, cheap tool that keeps product off your hands and off the parts you do not want shiny.
Compared with rags cut from old shirts, purpose-made microfiber applicators are consistent and do not leave loose threads.
